Description
The first axe swing came and Kayora ducked via muscle memory, her attention once again on her attacker she backpedaled as a savage flurry of blows came at her driving her back. Some she deflected, some she dodged. She couldn't do this forever. The fight was gone in her and the Hobgoblin knew it. He caught her with an elbow to the gut then a jab to the face, bloodying her nose.
“Fight BACK KAYORA!” Red shouted as another Hobgoblin came rushing down the stairs...thankfully he was unarmed.
Kayora wiped the blood from her face quickly as she again scooted out of the way of an ax strike.
Something welled up inside her. As the Hobgoblin tried another punch, this time Kayora parried. She ducked down with a tripping leg hook putting the Hobgoblin on his back. He rolled back to his feet but got Dawnslayer's speartip in his back. Kayora could feel the blade pierce the leather and chain, she pulled the blade free and spun catching the hurting goblin in the chest. Chain links buckled and the blade bit deep into the leather.
Red circled his enemy, dagger at the ready. He lunged in driving the hobgoblin back. He slashed again this time the hobgoblin entrapped his dagger arm, and bit him on the shoulder. Hastily Red shoved him away loosing the dagger for a moment. Both went for it but Red somehow recovered it. The two snarled at each other, when from behind a slash ripped across the hobgoblin' s back. Screaming out in pain, kayora's strike distracted long enough for Red to close distance and kill him with the dagger. The remaining Hobgoblin had enough, dropping his axe he bolted past them, only to have Kayora embed Dawnslayer into his back. The hobgoblin screeched and fell to the ground.
