Here's my final redo on my Popeye the Sailor. He's a mixture of Peter Parker from Spiderman 2017 series, Clark Kent/Superman from My Adventures with Superman, Robin Williams' Popeye and Valentines' upcoming fan film version of Popeye.

Here is has his busted right eye, scar on his chin and even visible anchor tattoos to make him look more like a classic modern version of Popeye we all know and love. He even has a full name too; Robin Mercer, named after Robin Williams and Jack Mercer to honor them both.

Summary: In Sweethaven, some years ago, a future hero was born, Robin Mercer, when he was young, his father Poopdeck Pappy (real name Ray Mercer), disappeared when left home and never returned, he had a pretty normal childhood except the occasional times when he would go against the bullies. At age 18, he met the future love of his life, Senorita Olive Oyl and her familia, and together he and Olive went on a journey to find Poopdeck Pappy, he might have lost the vision of his right eye to a monster near the end of that journey as well as a scar on his chin, but he and Olive never gave up not even when they almost died. After that journey, he and Olive were hailed as heroes, to the point where Castor says, "That's my little sister." and the rest, as they say, is history with Popeye marrying Olive Oyl, adopting Swee'pea as their son and giving birth to Junior.
