No no....not a real TV series. Not yet anyway.

The other night, I was thinking about all the different ideas TLK fans propose for a new TLK film: a movie about Kiara and Kovu's cubs, or about Zira and what happened to Kopa, or even about Mufasa and Scar when they were cubs. With so many ideas, I find it very difficult that if there ever is a new Lion King movie that all fans will be 100% satisfied. Then I got to thinking....

What if, instead of a film, Disney created another TLK TV series? (Not "Timon and Pumbaa")

It would take place mainly during Kiara and Kovu's reign, and their cubs, along with Vitani's daughter and Nuka's son, would be the main characters. However, the style of the show itself would be done roughly like "TLK 6NA": every episode contains one character telling some kind of story to another, in comparison to the present timeline. This way, all of the TLK loose ends can be tied up. And fans will see what they want.

Kopa fans get their Kopa explanation episode (although since it's the major ' plothole' of TLK II, it'll probably be a TV movie) Taka (Scar) fans will get their young Taka episode (s) and the fans of the future will see the future.

It'd be nice if characters like Mufasa's parents/grandfather and Simba's friends (Tojo, Tama, Chumvi, Kula and Malka) could make an appearance at one point as well.

As for the four characters, they're the TLK 3 cubs. At least, my version.

In the center is Upendi (Kiara and Kovu's daughter) and a revised version of Kuwasha (Kiara and Kovu's son). In order to avoid a bit of confusion amongst viewers....and a bit of law trouble....he can't be a blue-eyed white lion. so he's a darker gold cub with green eyes and none colored toes.

To Kuwasha's right is Safi, a newly designed version of Vitani's daughter. She has to look just enough like Vitani so people know she's her daughter (blue eyes) but not so much so she looks exact. So she's a darker, more orangy tan color with a lighter nose and an orange Zira's stripe.

To Upendi's left is Viza, Nuka and Dotty's son. Dotty and Spotty will most likely appear in a few episodes, since they're popularity is high among fans, as well as a few other outlanders/pridelanders. As for Viza himself, he looks like a more well-kept version of his father, with fur that's darker than Nuka's but lighter than Dotty's. He's also got green eyes. Regardless of what the director of SP said, it wouldn't be too hard to rework it so that Scar WAS Nuka's father--most people think he is. And Viza's green eyes would confirm that.

As for a theme song, I'd prefer to use the old "Simba's Pride Active Play" computer game theme. (Link wouldn't work, go to youtube).

If that provides too much of an issue, I assume the theme would be a rewritten version of either "Circle of Life" or "We are One."

So yeah, what I think Disney should do next with TLK. Maybe if I ever get that far in the business I'll propose it. Who knows?
