Evening Breeze is the spiritual, laid-back son of Vinyl Scratch and Neon Lights. A calm, introverted individual who tends to veer away from large crowds, and prefers to interact with one parent at a time.

He was conceived unintentionally when the young Vinyl and Neon were an item during their touring days. The two were rival DJs for a while, but hooked up during an after-party for one of their concerts. They were together for almost a year, though their relationship ran mostly on adrenaline and the thrill of performing - things only got real when Vinyl got pregnant. Being an overall good guy (egoist though he was), Neon Lights offered to marry Vinyl...but the two quickly realized THAT wasn't a good idea either. A "shallow" relationship between them worked fine, but throw in responsibility, and things began to fall apart.

They divorced a few months after Evening Breeze was born - a mutual decision. Neon still supported his family via money and gifts, but he spent most of his time on the road, as having a child didn't hinder his DJing career that much. Vinyl Scratch, on the other hand, learned that having a young child and a late night job that involved loud music and inappropriate scenarios for a young foal were not a good combination, so she retired, and after nearly three months unemployed, she took a job in a record store.

Neon Lights occasionally spent time with his son growing up, but he never quite got the hang of fatherhood, and never kept him for long.

As an older colt, Evening Breeze tends to spend a lot of time on his own; he enjoys being with his thoughts, and loves being in touch with the world around him as well.

When he's around twelve, he meets Night Chaser (Twilight and Spike's son, who's two years younger), who also tended to spend time alone, only exploring, and the two developed a friendship. He's Night Chaser's best friend.

*Unlike his parents, Evening Breeze actually needs his glasses to see.
