Getting a tooth pulled isn't always fun, and the aftermath can be pretty rough too.

Poor Gumball had to get one of his teeth pulled due to infection. His mom always warned him what would happen if he didn't practice oral hygiene. The infected tooth was too far gone to be saved with a root canal, so it had to be removed. Since they couldn't wait for a sedation or even afford it, they had to do the local anesthesia and some laughing gas. They also had to do abscess drainage too, which was gross. Well, at least he didn't feel any pain during the whole thing. Discomfort, and pressure, but no pain.

And so, his tooth was finally out, but now he's feeling sore and miserable. The procedure took quite a lot out of him. He just laid in bed with an ice pack and cloth wrapped around his head to keep the swelling down. He's on some meds to keep the pain away, but still, even with meds and antibiotics, he was still in a miserable state. Even not able to go to school for a couple days wasn't enough to cheer him up.

Well, he wasn't miserable for long though, because an angel came into his room to stay and take good care of him. She didn't have to, but she wanted to. It was the least she could do for him after he was there for her when she needed a friend in this new place she hardly knew about far from the home she had. The blue cat boy smiled as she told him not to worry, feeling forever grateful by her presence. Just having her here was already making him feel better.

Something I did before I got my tooth pulled. It wasn't really that bad, actually. It was better than getting all of my wisdom teeth out a couple years ago, though I was sedated during all that.
