"5! 4! 3! 2! 1!"

-RING- -RING- -RING- -RING- -RING-

A loud noise of cheering echoed across in every room in the school as kids were now rushing out of the doors. That meant one thing. School was finally over for the next 104 days... or at least three months in some places in the US. Everyone was excited because they can spend their days of summer without the distractions of the educational system. Yeah, they were really excited.

Mrs. Johnson's class were now departing the room, with Lincoln right behind them. But before he left, Mrs. Johnson wanted to talk with him first. The teacher was greatly surprised, but also relieved that Lincoln was back on his feet after a grueling depression because of all the stuff happening at home. Still, she wanted to hear it from the boy himself.

"So, is everything going ok at home?" Mrs. Johnson asked.

"Yeah, everything's going ok." Lincoln said. "Actually, things have gotten much better."

"Well, that's good to hear." Mrs. Johnson said. "I'm also very impressed with how you managed to catch up after being absent for almost a whole month. You really have been working hard." The boy blushed when he heard that. In regard to the weeks that Lincoln missed school, Mrs. Johnson and the other teachers allowed him to retake any tests that he missed. Speaking of which, he aced them all and didn't miss a single question! All the teachers were so impressed; they didn't mark down any letter grades. He can thank Lisa and the rest of his sisters for helping him study and catch up on missed homework.

"Yeah, I had a lot of help from my sisters." Lincoln said.

"I see." Mrs. Johnson said. "I hate to ask, but how are they doing? Are they... treating you well?"

"Oh yeah, they're treating me well." Lincoln said, a little surprised to hear that. Right. That video was still all over the place. Everyone saw that video, including the teachers. While the school has improved on keeping the bullying in check, the younger girls were still met with vicious glares from their peers, even from their teachers. The older ones, except for Lynn, didn't have to worry as much because, well, they were suspended.

"Ok, just making sure." Mrs. Johnson said. "Still can't believe that they made you sleep outside over a silly little white lie." Hearing that made Lincoln feel a bit worried. It seems when his parents came over to the school last month, they confessed about that whole Luck incident that pretty much kickstarted all of this. To be honest, it wasn't making Lincoln feel better hearing even his teacher panning his family like that.

"Mrs. Johnson." Lincoln said. "There's something that I should probably tell you. That video of the girls, they were the ones who made and posted that video in the first place. I'm sure you already know about this, but I was in a really bad spiral before I came back to school, and I've been beating myself over what happened to Lynn. The girls saw the damage that was done to me, and they felt really responsible for all the times they took me for granted in the past. They made that video and posted it online to make up for all that's happened." The boy's teacher was surprised to hear that. So, the girls made that video? They posted it themselves.

"Oh my..." Mrs. Johnson said. "Really."

"Yeah." Lincoln said. "If anything, they proved that they've really changed. They did all that for me. They proved that they do love me. And, I'll be honest, I really don't like how everyone is shunning them so much. Mrs. Johnson, this is probably a lot to ask, but can you be forgiving towards my sisters? Please?" The teacher thought about it for a moment. She was a bit spiteful towards his sisters after that video was posted. She had Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, and Lynn in her class years before, and back then, they were good students themselves. Even Lynn was nicer and a lot less aggressive when she was in her class. It seems that Middle School and High School life got the better of them. Yeah, that can happen. And, hearing it from Lincoln himself, the girls seem to be on track with being better towards him and everyone. If he's willing to forgive them, why she can too.

"Alright, Lincoln." Mrs. Johnson said. "I'll be forgiving towards them. I can't say the same for everyone else, but you got my word."

"Thank you." Lincoln said.

"And Lincoln, I just want you to know something." Mrs. Johnson said.

"What's that?" Lincoln asked.

"Out of all the students I've had over the years, you are the most resourceful of them all, and also one of my favorites." The teacher said. The white-haired boy was surprised to hear that. Out of all of the students she's had, he is her favorite.

"Really?" Lincoln asked.

"Really." Mrs. Johnson said. Without hesitating, the teacher gave the boy a kiss on the cheek, making him blush. Wow. That felt nice. Usually getting a kiss from a female teacher can be a bit embarrassing to some, but to Lincoln, it felt nice.

"Now you go run along and enjoy your summer, ok?" Mrs. Johnson said.

"Thanks, Mrs. Johnson." Lincoln said, and the boy headed out of the class as the teacher. She smiled knowing that he's back to his happy self again.

"What a good boy." Mrs. Johnson said. "Even when he does talk to himself."
