This is the 2nd part to the colab I made with nalunadragneel !!
Her followers didn't want to be stuck on a cliff-hanger, but I guess this doesn't clear things up that much, haha!

Why does she not fight back? Just why? All she does is defend herself against his attacks. Was she not strong enough to get offensive? No, he had seen her fight. Naluna was quite the powerful mage, if not the most powerful he had ever encountered. If she wanted to, she could've killed him by now. So why? Why does she not attack him? The dark mage grinded his teeth. Why is this so frustrating? With a swift move of his scythe, he opened a few more magic circles to summon his beasts, but she burned them like it's nothing. Why? Does she not see that this is hard for him too? No, no, put that thought away. No empathy, just do what you have to do. Once again, Sephtis startet running towards his opponent to bury his scythe in her - and once again she evaded, letting the weapon hit the ground.
The dark-haired mage finally spoke up. "Why are you doing this?" His voice was unstable, it sounded like he was on the verge of crying. "Are you afraid of attacking me? Why, can't you hurt me?"
To his surprise, tears started flowing down Naluna's face. "Of course I can't hurt you! I love you, I always will!" She dropped all of her defenses, it would be so easy to end this. So why does he hesistate? "Why…?" He didn't even notice his tears started flowing too. "Why are you saying this…?"
