Those little cuts/scratches on his shoulders were mostly from the mission he was on before, he was spying on other organisations; however, they found out and attacked once he tried to flee, which made him crash into a forest (he was trying to fly away using his Golbat). The bloody nose and lip were because he was.. well, beaten up? Team Rocket is merciless after all, if they aren't nice to pokemon they aren't nice to people either, right? B/)
