Yrse is a BIG GORL!! A liger with gigantism she breaks every scale. Her coat is soft orangish yellow with a white underbelly and accents. Her neck fluff is thick and flowy, the locks extend upwards and over her eyes having them rarely seen, it’s coloring more of a pale reddish color ending in onyx tips. Throughout her pelt are thin dispersed stripes

Positive
Protective - Yrse is made to be a Livestock guardian. She is highly protective of her charges and of her family. She will fight to protect any and all of them.
Gentle - Yrse is very large, but she has a gentleness to her. She is very cautious with her strength as she knows she can hurt smaller creatures easily. She is very aware of what is around her so she doesn’t hurt anyone or anything.
Nurturing - Yrse loves children and young ones and is very caring to them. She will teach them life lessons, stories, etc. she will even care for and nurture adults if it’s something they need. Very motherly.

Neutral
Dirty - Being a livestock guardian Yrse doesn’t much care about looks. She is almost always dirty because of it but as long as she can do her job she ignores it. In fact something that fort comes in handy.
Quiet - Yrse doesn’t speak much. The large liger is more of a listener. This can get her into trouble sometimes as she doesn’t voice when she needs help, is hurting, etc. She would rather help others than herself.
Sympathetic - Being a Guardian sometimes you can’t allow your emotions to cloud your job or lives can be lost. But Yrse has a soft heart and a sob story can sway her, at least until you show otherwise. She understands that life can be hard and cats or creatures can get desperate for anything to fill their bellies.

Negative
Naive - All she has ever known is the farm so Yrse is very naive of the outside world. She can be tricked easily if she doesn’t have something to defend. She isn't a fan of leaving the farm because of this as cats in the past have taken advantage of her.
Dense - While she isn’t exactly dumb Yrse can be a bit dense. A lot of jokes or words can go over her head and you have to speak plainly to her or she may not understand. She is very self conscious about this. Hence why she is quiet.
People Pleaser - A major people pleaser. Yrse loves to make her family happy, pushing herself too far sometimes. But she likes to do well and can get annoyed when she doesn’t.

Brute strength and intimidation. Sometimes you don’t have to fight if you’re built like a ship. Her size goes a long way when it comes to a deterrent. But when something is desperate enough to attack she fights with brute strength aiming powerful blows to the head and neck. The faster she can drop an enemy the lives of her charges she can save.

Background:
Sometimes the Fates can intervene in strange ways.

This is the case of Yrse.

Yrse doesn’t know much about her biological parents, the only parents she has ever known were the Starkovs and Draco. The liger came to the Starkov family while she was still in her mothers belly. From the stories she has heard her mother stumbled into the barn one night injured while Draco (the Starkovs previous guardian) was patrolling another area of the farm. When Draco got back he found a lioness nestled amongst the hay, cuts and bites scattered across her form. The most prominent part to her was her belly protruding from her side. She was breathing heavily when Draco found her and he realized that this lioness was about to give birth. He thought that the stress and trauma she had endured threw her into early labor.

Draco was able to get his owners to the barn to help the struggling lioness and though the labor was tough Yrse was brought into the world as the only cub. Yrse’s mother was weak but she pulled through well at least for a week until she finally succumbed. The Starkovs aren’t sure what happened, one day she was happily nursing the young Yrse relaxing and recovering from her wounds. The next, she was dead. In those few days Draco learned that her name was Elsie and her mate had been Varis. Varis died the night she had been wounded fighting off a few rogues while Elsie escaped.

When Elsie died it left Yrse an orphan, so the Starkovs decided to keep the large cub and train her as a Livestock Guardian as Draco was starting to show signs of age. So that’s what happened. Yrse grew into her name as she became as large as a bear. She learned quickly and was a caring cub to the livestock. She found that she loved to guard the sheep the most and their wool was always soft to sleep with.

She takes her job seriously though she will give other cats the opportunity to leave before a fight if they choose the harder option she leaves no prisoners. One of the best things about being employed by the Starkovs are the children. All three of the kids love to take care of Yrse and she cares for them.

Life is good on her farm and though she has been through several scuffles she comes out on top. She can’t wait to see what comes next.
