Del: Thanks again for helping me out today, Star.Starburst: No problem. Got a good workout. And I only passed out once this time
Del: Heh, yeah only once
Starburst: Gosh, I'm a mess though. It's gonna take me hours to get cleaned up... WAIT! What time is it???
Del: Um...... 4?
Starburst: Oh nononononono! I gotta get home! But wait! I'm a mess! My mom's gonna be so mad!
Del: What? Why?
Starburst: We're having some royal guests over at the castle or something tonight. She told me to stay home and clean things up but I came here anyways and–
Del: What??? Why didn't you say something?
Starburst: Becaaaaause I know you wouldn't let me hang out with you today if I did. Besides I cleaned up at home. But I'm a mess now!
Del: You can take a shower here if you need to
Starburst: Thanks but I'm gonna have to preen my wings and everything too!

Starburst: Have you seen my wings? They're gonna take me forever to get preened!

Several years later
Starfall: "How's that?" *he asks before nibbling gently on the wing*
Starburst moans: "Umm, that's nice..." *she flexes her other wing, which Starfall had already finished preeing* "I didn't know that letting somepony else preen your wings could be so nice... Other than myself and my parents when I was a kid, only Del had ever- AU!"
Starfall: "Sorry, my mouth had slipped. Have you just said that Del had preen your wings?"
Starburst: "Yeah, a few years ago, I needed- wait..." *she looks back at him, frowning* "Are you... jealous?"
Starfall deadpans: "Me, jealous? Don't be ridiculous..."
A few minutes later
*a knock on the door can be heard through the house*
Applejack: "Del, be a sport and look who that is."
*Del nods and goes over to the door. When he opens it, he sees behind them two eyes glowing with red and green, with black and purple shadows surrouding their owner, and shadows forming a terrifying, huge, bat-like pair of wings on his back*
Starfall: "So, you've preen my girlfriend's wings." *he states that in cold voice that seemed to say 'I'm gonna cut you'*
*Del closes the door and bars them with their back*
Api looks over: "Shees, cuz, ya look like ya've seen a ghost. Or, ya know, bat in yar case. Who was it?"
Del gulps and manages a fake smile. "W-well, ya know... "
Apple Bloom from somewhere in the house: "Api, come give me a hoof!"
*Api turns around and goes back into the house. Del sights, relieved that he didn't need to explain this to his cousin... and then a pair of wings grabs him from behind (through the door!) and gags him, stifling his scream*
