I've never put a sad drawing up here before which is surprising since I really like sad things like tragic fanfictions and stuff. I like just being able to cry sometimes XDΒ
Anyways, this is probably a concept a lot of you are familiar with assuming that a lot of you (my watchers) like Sparity. This has been done many times before where Spike lives for a long time after Rarity has passed. Now, I'm not sure if Claire and T would outlive everyone like Spike would being half dragon and all or even if they would have a shorter life since they're really "not supposed to be genetically possible" (even though this is a fictional world we're talking about), so I wanted to ask you guys what you think about that. Would they live for a long time? If they did, how long?
I mostly did this drawing because I wanted to draw what these two would look like older. For Claire, I went more in the majestical, kirin direction and for T, I went for the straight up dragon horse longma thing. So yeah, let me know what you think!

They would probably have a life span of about 550 years. After all, ponies can reach up to 100 years in age, but dragons can live for a good thousand years at least. (heck, in some things, like D&D, dragons can't die of old age.) So, I put their life span at half way between the two of their parents.

they might out live a dragon, seeing as "mutts" have better immune systems then purebreds, it could aid in their longevity.
however being so different they could suffer from a lot of health risks if there were mutations in their dna

To be honest I think that they both would probably live a bit longer than the average pony because of their dragon side but would probably have serious health problems as they got older

maybe they should live until they are 100-400 years. im guessing that spike and the alicorns are near immortal so this would be a perfect balance of the pony an dragon combined race. also, since siblings have unique gene combinations, maybe one could outlive the other by 50-100 years, just to be cray. I'd say Dragons have a live span of about 3,000 years. Considering the fact that Claire and T are only 50% dragon, their life span could range between 100 to 1,000 years.Β

Well in some mythologies dragons are immortal beings so let's say that in Equestria they are also immortal beings in terms of aging (dying in battle or a disease is still possible).
We also know that "true" alicorns are also immortal and let's say that in this case other alicorns are given a choice of immortality (same as the dragons only aging immortallity not complete immortality)
or mortallity so that they can die like the normal ponies.
Since hybrid's of two species share traits of both the species like horns and claws of a dragon or "ponylike" figure of a pony, it would be possible that they also share the same lifespan.
In the case of one of the two species being immortal i presume that the genes that decide the lifespan of an immortal are stronger than those of a mortal, in other words if one of the parents is immortal the child will also be immortal.
If we presume that this theorie is the one that's active in Equistria, then we could denounce that the children of Spike,Luna,Discord and Celestia are immortal.
And that cadence and twillight decided that they would live the lives of mortals, and in this case it would mean that if one of their children achieve "corronation" that they also will have to face the same choice as their mothers.
Live forever and see your loved one's weaken and die one by one or face the mysteries of death and the afterlife.

That's one reason why I love certain MLP comic series (Dash Academy, Heartstrings, Beethoofen Virus) so much; so much emotion 
In response to your question... I think they would live longer - perhaps two or three times longer than "normal" ponies?
I think third gen dragon ponies like Oasis would live a varying degree of time depending on how much "dragon" they have inherited.
If two dragon-pony hybrids mated, some dragon grandchildren might even have longer lifespans than their parents, which would be a very interesting (and maybe sad) story

HEAD CANNON TIME
Unicorns, being tied into the magical spectrum, live longer lives than their pegasi and earth pony counterparts and eventually become a part of the stream of mana when they pass on. Dragons live nearly as long as Alicorns, depending on their Clan and Bloodlines some live longer than that.
Dragons are normally hatched in the fires of their parents, passing on the magic of their family line in this manner before hatching - Spike was hatched via Twilights magic, thus passing her magic on to him instead of his bloodline magic which he can somewhat tap into but not fully.
I picture Twilight as the Descendant of Starswirl the bearded - greatest unicorn who ever lived (besides Clover the Clever). Thus her magic is among the most powerful.
Rarity's magic, while not as strong as Twilights, is still rather strong and she has proven before that while Twilights magic is more powerful, hers is more durable and able to perform pinpoint details like threading a needle or performing many tasks at once. IE: when she crafted several dresses at the same time. Twilight can lift several objects at once, but not commit several tasks at once as shown when she is losing her mind in the time travel episode and doing each task one after the other.
Toss all of this together and you get two dragon ponies/Kirin/whatever you wanna call ems - who have an average life span matching that of at least half an Alicorn's.
An average Alicorn has a lifespan of 5000 years (Cadence for example)
An Alicorn tied to a Celestial body/object share its lifespan. (Celestia will live as long as the sun, Luna will live as long as the moon)
Therefore, Turquoise and Clarity would live a minimum of 2500 years.

Honestly, since Claire was like 110 when Inldie was born, I think that she still has PLENTY of time before passing. I guessing if dragons have the life span of thousands of years, I think she and T will live for a few thousand years
