I've been thinking about these two a lot in the past 40 hours since the episode aired
I don't really ship characters in the show. Like, I'm down for Sparity and it's the closest I've come to really, truly shipping characters. I considered them my OTP for a long time but hoooooooooooooooo my god this one punched me in the heart. Plus the episode was amaaaaazing. Definitely in my top five and DEFINITELY my favorite of this season so far. I think I watched it like 7 times today? Making me love the show as much as I did in season 4. asdjfkasjdk. I'm having feeliiiiings

I love this ship! And I loved the episode too! I felt that the manticore thing was a little odd and the hat thing Trixie wore when she launched herself really bothered me for some reason XD But other than that I loved the episode a lot! And I felt that Twilight had a good learning experience as well! (Plus I love Trixie)

I called you stupid because I'm tired of dealing with nonsensical crap like "They ain't appreciating." The hell is that even supposed to mean? It's got to be the use of "appreciating" that throws it off.Β
Anyway, this reminds me of other friendships taken to the next level by fans.Β My original comment stemmed from the reminiscence that I felt was present and from a sortΒ of lament that best friends don't capture the imagination as much as couples do. I followed it up with "This is really awesome and cute though and I love them together ehe" to indicate that I'm not attacking this ship and that I bear the creator and her opinions no ill will. Additionally, I indicated inoffensive lightheartedness with my extended "why"! Do you mean to say that I should silence myself in the name of "consideration"Β when I was already being as considerate as possible with my differing opinion? This is a comment section, not an echo chamber. Civil, amicable differences in opinion are allowed to exist. It's pretty stupid to suggest otherwise.

I don't really do the whole shipping thing myself, I accepted the more classic ships like Spike x Rarity, Lyra X Bon-Bon and Vinyl Octavia just because their are too many cute stories about those to say no. But I knew, I KNEW, that by the end of that episode we found a new ship.
