Description
Character Information: Maika and Ryo are both fiercely loyal older wolves whose strength of will have not faded over the years. Their mating was originally somewhat of a betrothal, but they've come to care deeply about the other since then. Ryo is always something of a class clown, but Maika is usually serious. They had four children, one of which is Terrana Loverde.Here's a double-character sheet. The three yellow-ish markings on Maika's throat aren't scars, they're just markings.. I didn't have room to add it on the sheet, it's crowded as it is. Hopefully you can tell whose parents these are without the character info..
I've really come to like these two while writing the comic backstory and coloring their sheet. Art & Characters (c) Kiarei-star/me/

Nope, Maika is still alive. In the story it was Laurelin who told Danjien that her father was dead, not Terra.

I could guess it was Terra because Terra inherited the green from her mother no? Terra also has a little of her father's coloring, but more of Maika.

Maika's neck seems to be ... hmm - on Ryo's leg =/ if you darken the leg up it will look like Maika is in front of Ryo. Otherwise its very good! ^0^ I love it!

Yeah I think so! I kind of grew up on Balto, and that's kind of why I put you on watch, because it was something familiar looking. Like when you are in the mood to read, but you want to read something light and you know whats happened before. That's what your art is like! So keep it up!
and it's not like you are copying at all or anything if you got that impression from me, your work is familiar but fresh and with a new twist!

Oh, I see! I get the whole "ur art loks like kayfedewa'z u copycat" thing a lot, so when people draw comparisons, I immediately jump to the defensive a bit.

You are really talented! I'm glad you put all this effort into your artwork. I'm still a beginner, I'm almost 15, but I started drawing pretty late, I was never interested until last year, and I'm getting there slowly. Your artwork makes me hope I can get up to a higher level soon.

Could you point out some flaws maybe so I can improve? I try to correct mistakes while sketching/linearting, but like anybody I miss things all the time. ^^ I can only avoid things in the future if I know what to watch out for, so every crit helps.

I think your anatomy is pretty dead on, someone said something about the head . . but remember the customer is NOT always right. It depends also on the art style.

You know, before I even read your artist's comments, I looked at them and thought "If you cross those two, you'll get Terra! (:" so I'm guessing it's her parents. x3
Again, I LOVE green. Maikas design is really nice because it's all swirly x3 I love them swirls. It seems complicated without being too much, just as Ryo. (How do you pronounce that anyway? Ry-o or Rjo?) Ryos design seems more natural (the pattern, not the colour) while still being fantasy-ish and all... special. :3
As for new shading/colouring - I like it. ^^
