Description I just love abalone shell. And I love Art Nouveau. And the two parts of this went together so well that it was as if they were made for each other.

Art Nouveau focussed on utilising natural form, of course, and the colours of this slice of abalone - brilliant greens with threads and waves of blue cutting through them - went perfectly with the antiqued gold of the metal. The stamping is a design taken from original dies and dates back to c. 1890, with a pattern of leaves and flourishes typical of the time. I added more natural form in little flowers, and simply finished it off with little peridot green crystals.

This slice of enhanced nature was available in my Etsy shop but it sold at the weekend (Yay! for a sale!). This was my personal favourite piece and I felt strangely regretful packing it up and shipping it off. Ah well. Guess I'll just have to make some more of them, mm?

The Peridot compliments the Abalone beautifully!  Too bad it's gone   Your work is wonderful.

oh, the pain of shipping a baby away~ At least the cash tendered can afford making more little treasures, huh? Great accents with the dangling flowers, and the double chained necklace portion on the pendant is a wonderful mimic of crawling ivy. I adore it!

This is a stunning peice! Such a beautiful design and such vibrant colours! I would definately pay good money for this.
A beautiful peice of jewelry like this is something you rarely see in real life, and more often in character designs for games. Something like this could easily be the centerpeice of any character's costume!
Great job

Awww, thank you so much!

I really didn't want to let this one go but I can't get too sentimental over things I make, I suppose.
I actually have a jeweller character in the main game that I play and this would definitely be one of the designs from there. Now, if only I could upload it into the game files ...
