Well it's a sketch I did for my friend
It's of a teenage anime/manga female.
proportions.
there are notes as you can see I shall explain them
the lines going down the body with the nimbers 1-7 are showing the 'heads' the note that goes along with it is this:
Teenagers are between 6 and 7 heads tall. Goes for males too. by heads I mean the lines (theres an arrow pointing to the lines.. toward the bottom right) They have #s between them. Those measurements were taken from the head circle.
next to that little splurt is a stick person with circles hehe
ok so next note.. well let's see up top you can prolly read it theres an arrow going from next to the #2 and the note says: Boobs Shiznt perfectly round
so basically that means what it says
peoples boobies are not perfectly round.. unless you get some crazy surgery or are just different o.o;
uhh under that there are lines from the boobs to the hips and a little thing pointing to the words: hips and breasts align
then another arrow pointing to that tiagram thing to the right of the page that shows how the breats start and going down it curves as you get to the waist and then it comes back out as the hip. it you take your pencil and set it there it should align, a ruler, making a line, judging with your eyes, anyway that works for all females.. well the ones that actually have a breast
down below that about at the number 4 it says:
Remember Ms.Craig and the shorts line: tips of fingers to like the thigh I think it's called

well in middle school we had a teacher: Ms.Craig
she was EXTREMELY strict ESPECIALLY with dress code and the rule was if you stand up straight and hold your arms against your sides, your finger tips should not pass your shorts or skirt or whatever.
so basically when your going by arm length the tips of fingers go about to your thigh (again I think thats what it's called) you can always stand up and see where your fingers fall or ask someone else to or whatever.
the thing on the left side is basically saying that if you measure from the top of the head to the hips (Where the underwear starts) then take the measurement and place it directly under where you just measured it'll take you down to the ankles. then you add feet :3

oh remember:
All of this is APPROXIMATE!
of course you'll have your own style and people have odd proportions or whatever but this is a very common character
I just added some hair and eyes so it wouldn't look too freaky..
