The picture was made entirely out of boredom. I was playing the newest Harvest Moon Game, Island of Happiness, and just decided to doodle.
My favorite Harvest Moon Game has always been the Nintendo 64 version, and Ann was always my favorite. <3 Along with that, I always thought the Spring Sowing Festival was adorable. XD
Again this was pretty much a doodle, so, I'll probably scrap it sometime. >>;
Characters came from Harvest Moon 64. Yay.

I'm sure you get this a lot, but I just love they way you drew the balloons.
They look really light and fluffy, giving the scenery a tranquil look to it.
Plus, Anna just looks adorable in this picture

Oh I rember that from the 64 one. That always had the best fesitavals. I would go and play it now but the stupid game erased my file and I don't feel like starting from the beginning again. xD

Yeah, I've noticed a lot of people haven't played HM64, which is a tragedy to me because It was easily my favorite. D: It was great though, lots and lots of awesome festivals. XD

Oh no doubt. XD Yeah, BTN was great, very similar to 64 in graphics and characters. I'll just always have a special place in my heart for the 64 since it was my first HM game. XD

There are some nice colours in this one, I love Ann's Eyes. And the detail in the hot air balloon is cool as. I've mostly played HM-MFOMT so I've met Ann there (when I play as the girl I always go after Cliff who's the rival for Ann when your a guy). Anyway, overall, very pretty, well done

Thank you! Yeah, MFOMT is actually rather different from HM 64. Ann in the 64 version works on a ranch with her brother, Gray, and is quite the tomboy. XD I guess I liked her spunk a lot in that game. But yeah, it was always hard for me in MFOMT because Ann was always my favorite but I liked Cliff, too. XD

I never actually played back to nature. XD But man, eight years. I wish I could find my N64. If I could, I'd probably be playing it too. Unfortunately I misplaced it when we moved a few years back. D:
A Wonderful life just...sucked. I hated that game. It took all of my power to finish it off the first year. I felt like I was wasting my time when I played it though. >>
Mineral Town and those spin offs weren't bad,Magical Melodies was pretty fun, and Tree of Tranquility was the best since the 64 version, in my opinion. Exciting Animal March looks like it's going to be crazy fun, though. XDD

I've tried to keep my N64 in good condition, only because I love that game so much. The only thing that sucks is the controllers... They were the first controller to ever have an analog, so it's to be expected, but it makes running difficult. You probably have it stored in a box somewhere. xD
I hated it too, I played a year of game-time to see if it picked up, and no... It only got worse. I really disliked that game, and I've been scared to try any of their other releases of Harvest Moon. ):
Really?? I was thinking about renting Tree of Tranquility but I wasn't sure if it'd be any good... I'll be sure to check it out now!

YaY Harvest Moon! We've been playing the GC musical note one lately, my sister and I. Heh, I always had a thing for the drunken bar girl. I love that they brought back the same girls from the 64 version to the GC one. Love the picture, you should "doodle" like that more often. Though it's so well done and the colours are so soft and well put together I definately wouldn't call it a doodle. It looks scetchy but thought out, like a heartfelt watercolour. <3
