Another piece for my Anything Project.

Tis Wilbur Robinson, and his girlfriend in my fanfics. Her name is Matilda Twist. She's the eldest daughter and third eldest child of a family of nine children. Her eldest brothers already moved out, one working as a scientist at Robinson Industries. Her father was an alcoholic and beat his family on a daily basis. Her mother was so afraid of him, that she hardly even said I love you to her children.

Matilda had been going to school with Wilbur since kindergarten. When she would come to school with a bruise on her face, Wilbur would hand her the icepack he had in his lunch.

Cornelius acted as a surrogate father for Matilda while she dated Wilbur, and eventually, the Robinsons helped her family get free from Mr. Twist's alcohol addiction. She's also incredibly fond of Carl's company.

I created Matilda to be a character that children in situations like her could relate to. I've heard of stories since my childhood about children being beaten to death by their parents or at least one of them. Domestic abuse is a scary thing, but although those memories will unfortunately never be erased, there are people who care.

Wilbur loved Matilda for who she was. It didn't matter if she had a bruise on her face or a scar on her cheek. He loved her just the way she was.

When I post my fanfictions of MTR, you'll get to know her a little better.
