A little something I finished on a stream I had over the weekend. Goes with a one-shot I wrote for funsies September 2015 when I was just starting to get to know the characters. What other reason would Zack hang around Milo if everything about the Murphy Curse freaks him out X)
Also friendly reminder that my art is not canon with the show, just all for fun unless I state it
Also another reminder I guess that I draw more platonic relationships than anything else. Srsly. Not romantic

Platonic relationships for the WIN. Seems like every show people are like: "these two people don't hate each other, they must secretly want to smooch". UGH! What's wrong with good old fashioned friendship!?

I've just started getti g into this show within the last couple weeks. And I really love it. It's so much fun and the characters Ares really likable. I'm enjoying watching their friendship develop.
And last but certainly not least. Your art is absolutely beautiful. The expressions show do much emotion. I really like Milo's slightly sad smile at the beginning. Your lighting is wonderful as well, it really adds mood to these two pictures.

You know what'd make an interesting episode? If Milo actually, and of course unintentionally, got either Zach or Melissa seriously hurt because of murphy's law. And he really does consider himself a danger and runs away, forcing Zach, Melissa, and Sara to chase after him. They have a talk about how they'll always care about Milo, murphy's law and all. An episode to just...slam a diamond fist into your feels.Β

basically it's just self reflectiveness and it equals character development. not being happy all the time isn't automatically angst or depression

I have noΒ idea why you think that this is depression, but let me tell you a thing. People will draw fanart while combining it with their current emotions. They are allowed to do that. Limiting fans or crew members to drawing the character exactly the way they are in the damn show is wrong. It'S like telling someone who is already clinically depressed that they are not allowed to draw their favourite charcters feeling that way because they'Re not normally that way. Or telling someone who is sick in the hospital that they're not allowed to look at fanart of their favourite characters sick in the hospital because it doesn't happen in the show. It's a bunch of bullsh** when I hear people get ticked off when a fan draws a character "off personality." they are allowed to do absolutely anything they want, whether other people agree or not. Don't go and rain on their effing parad because YOU think it'S ridiculous. I have several drawings of Milo upset hanging in my cubicle and our showrunners are attracted to the ones that break the emotions. Even if you don't see it in the show. So suck it up and live with it, because with that attitude you're going to be dissapointed absolutely everywhere you look in fandoms.
