...Then again, I think that would be too easy. If just getting bitten by a vampire was enough to turn someone into one, it would be too similar to a zombie virus, I think. In order for someone to become a vampire, I think the vampire and their victim have to drink each other's blood, right? That way, the vampire's blood will convert the victim's blood into vampire blood, which doesn't reproduce, unlike normal blood (which is why vampires suck blood in the first place, to replenish their constantly dwindling supply).
