darkstripe my dear, what have you gotten yourself into?i never had much interest in him, besides the fact that i loved his design and his name
but it was reallyreallyreally a lot of fun to draw him... its at highrocks in the battle against bloodclan... i dunno if he was near them (but s far as i recall...) doesnt matter, i wanted to draw rocks, so here they are

Yeah, awesome lil' Graystripe killed him in the fight with Bloodclan, bit his neck and broke his spine~

I kind of love Graystripe x3 He was my only fave character in the first series, well, also Yellowfang, but I didn't like her as much until she died.
and I kind of thought Darkstripe was an arrogant ass, but I now understand him much more..

well, i had a lot of favourite charas in the first series...but they have the habit to die as soon as i decide to like them -.- xDD
Yes, yellowfang is also pretty cool ^^
And darkstripe...yes... definetly arrogant and also stupid to a certain degree, but not as annoying as other charas. Understand? In which way?

I actually never got to like any character as I read the first series. I never read past The Darkest Hour, simply because they haven't translated it into Dutch yet. But I started liking Graystripe a lot when I saw the Graystripe AMV of Hymn For The Missing by RED. I just felt so sorry for him, how he stayed strong for his kits.. It reminded me of how lonely I felt when my boyfriend dumped me..
And yes, Darkstripe was arrogant and a little dumb/oblivious. But I just felt sorry for the way he lost everything. His friend betrayed his Clan and left, his other friend (Longtail)didn't really stick up for him as far as I know, he eventually left his Clan desperately searching for someone he thought was worth following, then Tigerclaw dumped him in the Dark Forest and all that.. It's kind of harsh, all that.
And I kind of disliked Cloudpaw's attitude and stuff, he was the only annoying cat to me in the first series x3

well, i also took no paticular liking in the main charas...fireheart for example is plain annoying -.-
but i was very fond of a few sidecharas...longtail for example, or whitestorm oh, or swiftpaw^^
but like i said... they all tend to die -.-
but i also liked Graystripe very much and his life just does not get any easier after silverstreams death..poor fellow.
And nevertheless he managed to keep this care-free attitude ... i like this a lot about him
as for darkstripe... he has always been a beastly coward ... and after something that is revealed in an extra story he threatened longtail and did not care at all about his clan, long before fireheart stepped into the forest...one of the reasons nobody stood up for him i suppose... but youre right... i guess he just tagged along... if somebody would have guided him better he may would have ended up differently
omg.. I HATE Cloudpaw/tail.... HATEHATEHATE XDD he is soooooooo annoying and arrogant and grrrrrrrrrrrrr... and its not getting any better once he is grown up -.- XDD

I didn't really like any character except Graystripe and Yellowfang. Just how they deal with their lives.
Yeah, that's the thing with Darkstripe. He reminded me of one of those fake bullies, the ones that just followed the 'leader' and didn't necessarily do anything themselves.
And I never read that story where he threatened Longtail O3o Where do people read those?
And yesh, Cloudtail has an attitude I too can not stand. At least he shuts Berrytail up and loves Brightheart the way she deserves~<3

Ah, okay. I've heard stories about some kind of short plays that don't occur in the books, I have no idea where they find those.

also rein theoretisch geht hinter ihm die felswand hoch und er kauert davor(wenn ich mich recht erinnere hatte graustreif ihn da ja iwie in die enge getrieben...aber ich hab das buch nich hier...)
