Yeah I can totally see that. La Roux is very different and special in her awesome way and so is her music. Macklemore could definitely be compared to her.
I showed my dad their songs "Same Love" and "Ten Thousand Hours" and he had so much more respect for his music than before when all he heard was "Thrift Shop" and "Can't hold Us."
