Description Iiiiit's the birthday of Red and Idaris's triplets OMG! This year I did three pics, so make sure and look for all of them, okay? ^.^ I'm calling this the Triplets Leaning on Stuff With Color Backgrounds series. 9.9; Wargh.

And this is Piper, middle child and girl. u.u (For those who've seen "How to Kill a Mockingbird"--'Piper...a GIRL...') She became the proud owner of a brand new drum kit in the past year, and is the drummer in the kids' band, so I thought that'd be appropriate. =] She's onna those people who's got rhythm in their soul (I blame her daddy).

I love drawing things made of metal.

I love drawing things that are metallic and glowy in general too. xD Playing with light is so fun.

Y'know, I really like these pictures. 6.6 With the poses and the colored backgrounds and all. Y'know what they remind me of? Graduation photos. There's something here that SCREAMS "Graduation Photo." :] It looks all professional and stuff.

Pip's eyes look really, REALLY cool here. o.o Beautiful linework. 9.9; And I'm not commenting on the drums beyond saying "good metallic shading," for the same reason I'm not commenting on Kyne's bike.

=o I hadn't thought of that angle, but you have a point. That would account for the simple backgrounds--they're like them drape things they put behind you when you get your photo taken! 8D Yeah, that's what this is! Right!

Metal is the uberfun to highlight and shade. o_@

Metal ROOOOOCKSpunintended.

....their graduation pictures are a shmillion times better than mine were. XD;; My guy didn't give me any hints on how to pose or smile or anything, he just kept clicking away and going ">:d GOOD! BEAUTIFUL! PERFECT! GOOD!" while I went ";;;....*I have no idea what I'm doing. Help me, please, somebody.*"

9.9; Hanna and Heidi had the right idea. They whipped out the ol' digital camera and took their own graduation photos. Which ended up a million times better than my "professional" ones. XD;;

Ours were dumb. -.9 They were just a boring cloud background, and we had to put on these little drapey shirty thingies so we all looked like we were wearing black dresses (with differing levels of low-cut-ness, if you were a slut or you were...me...), and then we had to put on a cap and gown and pose with a really fake-looking diploma roll. BORRRRIIIIIING. And in the yearbook they ended up in black and white ANYway, and we HAD to have one with the drapey black thing that was ugly. e.e

On the plus side, the diploma poses showed off my hands, arguably the prettiest thing on me. =B So those we gave to the fambly. They didn't have to know of the ugly drape.

XD; We didn't have drapes, just come wearing what you wanted to wear. And if you, heaven forbid, wanted to take pictures outdoors or with a prop, the money went through the roof. 9.9 And no cap and gown, it was just....everybody had a senior picture. o.o People were handing 'em out like candy. People I didn't even KNOW were giving me their pictures. I remember Mr. Hulce, the english teacher who is awesome that I had senior year, told everybody to put up their senior picture on a little fish cutout on the wall for the senior class, and since I had only printed out just enough senior pictures to give one to each of my aunts/uncles/grandparents, and I didn't have the little candy-pack of horribly overpriced pictures to hand out to whoever looked at me for more than two seconds, I just grabbed a fish and a mirror and drew a self-portrait. >B Which everybody was in awe of. And which was cooler than any of the other horribly expensive pictures from the rich kids. Pwn.

XD That is cool. And is another way we're different, because if I'd been in your situation, I would have simply stood at the back of the room while everyone else put their pictures up, conveniently not being noticed, all the while cooking up a lie I could tell anyone who might ask me where my pic was on the wall. Or, if forced to tell the truth, cried. I had no self esteem.

XD;; I was actually like that at first, except Mr. Hulce kept reminding the class that "a few students haven't put their pictures up yet!" every single day, and I was almost at the emo-crying stage when I thought...."hey wait...I can draw! Hah! Me drawing my own picture will either put people in awe of my mad skillz or make them pity me for not being rich enough to have my own pack of expensive overpriced pictures! >:d POUR PITY AND AWE ON ME!" :T;; I was, and always have been, an attention hog. A lot.

This looks awesome! I've never seen anyone draw an Irken with a drum kit before. :3 Her eyes look neat. I like the pose, too. She looks very relaxed and confident.

Eve sends special birthday love to her girly, and says she'll see her tonight u.u ...And I'd comment on the other two pictures now but I gatta go back to school. >:d; I will comment when I return! Muwah!
