You love camping and hiking, and like to do it alone, so you can relax, recharge your batteries and go back to your busy everyday life. This weekend, you decided to go camping close to the boundary waters canoe area, in Northern Minnesota. After a long day in which you walked 10 miles, you set up your tent just next to the Slash, a treeless zone that marks the border between the USA and Canada, and go to sleep.

Someone tapping on your tent wakes you up. You come out, the sun is rising and there's a guy with about your age, height, weight and hair color looking at you. He says: "Good morning, I'm terribly sorry if I woke you up. I'm exploring this area and I seem to be lost. Do you think you could help me?". You're still sleepy and find the situation odd, but you answer: "Sure, we hikers have to help each other. Tell me what happened.". "I spent the whole night walking, looking for a way out of this forest, but I just can't seem to find it. Let me show you where I came from.", he continues.

You walk a bit in the direction of the lake, and he points to the mountains behind it, saying: "Yesterday, I was there. I thought I knew where I was going but, for some reason, I ended up here. And there's a big problem with that, let me show you.". He takes a passport from his backpack and shows it to you, while he says: "I'm Canadian, you see, I should be on the other side of the border. Do you happen to have your passport with you?". You reply: "I actually do, because I like to hike freely in this area, which means sometimes I'm on the Canadian side.".

He puts a smile on his face, takes a gun from his backpack, points it at you and says: "So, I think I found my ideal victim. Let's see that passport. And only slow movements, please, I don't want to shoot you by accident.". You're confused with what's happening, but do as he says, picking your passport from inside your tent and giving it to him. He opens it and says: "Look, it could be me in this picture, how convenient. Now, be a good boy and put your hands behind your back.".

You do it and he ties your hands. Then, he sits you against a tree, ties your chest to it and your feet together. He then tells you: "You see, finding you was the best thing that could have happened to me. Your stupid country doesn't allow me to get in just because of some small problems I had with the law in the past. But I need to go back in to take care of some unfinished business, and now I have what it takes to go through a passport control. Don't worry, because I'll make an anonymous call to 911 saying I found an unfortunate camper tied to a tree and they will come for you. But that will only happen in a few hours, now I need you to stay here without drawing any attention to you.".

He then shoves a cloth inside your mouth and wraps it with duct tape and a white cloth. You test your ropes and gags while he packs your tent and your other stuff. He picks everything and says: "I'm borrowing all of this, because, if I am to be you, I need to look like the adventurous camper you are. Have fun in this new adventure.".

He leaves and you spend the next 5 hours unable to get free or call for help, until the police sent by 911 finds you.
