There's maybe 2 or 3 Spawn pieces in my gallery. 
None of the are new. I think the most recent was a marker piece, but the thought of making a new one always lingers in the back of my mind.

Spawn? I haven't seen much of it since the late 90's, but I have seen a little bit of it.
Oddly enough I was reminded that Keith David was the voice of Spawn just yesterday while looking through his IMDB listings.

I think there may have been hopes for a newer sleeker Spawn animated project around 2007.
I attended the San Diego Comic-Con that year and ended up spending a little time at the MacFarlane booth. The guys there took a long look at a folder of artwork that I had with me and thanks to people who were the for a signing looking over into the booth at my artwork I ended up being asked (and roped into) drawing one or two sketches along the side of a friend I was there to see. The project he and a couple of other great artists had worked on was a Spawn animated comic. The impression that I got from taking a look at the artwork there was that the project may have been intended to go a little further.

But the has been talk of another animated series, a grittier and more grounded Spawn movie, a Sam & Twitch TV show. There always seems to be something being considered, so who knows what the future will hold.

I thought his role in Captain America: Winter Soldier was handled very well. I wouldn't be surprised (but I would be glad)  if he makes a fully costumed return in the near future.
