Kid.... I beg of you.... please meet with Neil Gaiman and get the rights to Re-publish the series with your art. I want to read sandman so bad but the art is keeping from doing so.... But if you illustrated it I would buy it like........ 7x over.

I'm going to have to take a look, I've been surprisingly flooded with e-mail's and notes lately and it's been hard catching up amongst the work I have to do.

Hey, totally fine man, just not sure whether you'd got it/what format was the best to reach you in - i.e. e-mail, devaintart note, comment on a piece etc.
I think the main questions were
a) how would you feel with me using one of your pieces or more as a tattoo (sometimes exact, sometimes as the inspiration)
b) would you be available for a commission to draw an original Dream/Sandamn, for the purpose of the tattoo

I really like the juxtaposition of color here, especially against the white negative space. The use of candles to liven up the warm section is very nice, and adds to the mysterious air of the whole piece.

It took me a while to get a hang of these markers and really get a feel for all the things that can be done with them, I'm still finding new possibilities for them everyday.

It's Dream/Morpheus/whatever other names he has!!! Seriously, Gaiman wasn't kidding when he said Dream collected names like people collected friends.

Yeah, I've wanted to add candles to a Sandman picture for at least the past couple of years now, don't know what took me so long.

Yeah, I think the hair got the most of it, but the eyes too. They're blue and I was used to white and shiny.
Well, we had have to wait for two years but it's worth it. It's amazing how you did it with just the shadows and the light.
