He's the main character of a story I've been developing, and he's of Hungarian origin. (Plus it was easier, since I haven't named him yet...)

He could potentially be from any country. The point is, I'm not trying to propagate any stereotypes or represent any points of view. This is a typical case of form follows function. What is important is that he reads as a pugilist - and this is how I envision a pugilist of that era to look. That fact that he is from Hungary has nothing to do with how he looks. What surprises me is just how sensitive a lot of folks have been about this. If it was a beautiful woman and I called her Hungarian, would it cause the same kind of reaction?

Sorry for coming across as pissy the other day. It's just been one of those weeks, and I apologize.

I can help you get information for your story. I am hungarian and my father did a play about Seress Rezso, a hungarian jew who was prominent in culture during that time-frame. Just message me.

At this point, it seems to suit the purposes of the story well. This particular character's backstory involves growing up as a Hungarian Jew around the 1850's-60's. From what I've been able to gather, things were getting better for Jews during this time period, but there was still a lot of prejudism. This will lead to events where the character renounces his Jewish origins and runs away to travel Europe as a prize-fighter (ie Boxer). His travels eventually take him to France, where he becomes something of a celebrity.

He's the main character in a story that I'm writing, where he grows up in Hungarian in the late 1800's, and is really good at fighting. He ends up moving to Bohemian France and becomes a boxer.

Actually, it's wonderful that you're from Hungary! I have a couple of questions, and maybe you can provide me with some good answers, especially since my knowledge of your country is a little limited at the moment. I'll note you in the next few days, if you are willing to help me out...

Very nice and very clean. Nice choice of colors and great texture and attention to detail. His coat collar seems a bit flat at the edges against his shirt collar though. Otherwise pretteh cool.

Yeah. I started getting a little lazy towards the end - hence the collars etc. But I still had a lot of fun with it.
