Yes I'm having way too much fun with anthro art these days. Makoto is just way too cute for me not to draw, but decided she looked better in Noel's somewhat more subdued battle outfit

I think they did this because they didn't want Makato and Noel to be too similar but I agree with you, I think Makoto should be better in Noel type outfit.

yeah and because they wanted her in the most fan servicey possible outfit for people that are into furry art

Well they already didn't give Tsubaki a Noel style outfit. I guess they figured why suddenly give put Makoto in that outfit. *shrugs*. Storywise, it could just be a reflection of the groups within the Library (Tsubaki, Noel, and Makoto are all in different departments).
Of course adding another fanservice heavy character was probably part of it too (since Tsubaki is probably the most subdued outfit I've seen on a female in a while and Noel doesn't even offer upskirt shots)

well Makoto does have a rather subdued outfit that's her "official" NOL outfit, she just strips it off into her mega fan-service battle outfit

yes, every character that I can think of has some crazy ass shoes but I guess that's part of the fun of their wacky character designs. Really appreciate the comment!
