I've been trying out different ways to draw my nuzlocke, and came out with this one.I'd really appreciate any advice and what you think..
I've been trying my best to make it manga-like.
I know it looks editted. Bear in mind, the scanner doesn't like me D:

Anyways. i found most of the comic to be quite funny because I actually only played the ruby and sapphire versions lols. I had thought the same thing when one of my pokemon kept hitting the other pokemon till it was dead. I was like "STOP STOP!!!" My mom looked at me as if I were insane. Lawls. anywyas, you're very good at what you do and I can't wait to see more.

Everyone has their own unique style of how they draw and create pieces of art.
When I first saw your nuzlocke, I read it as an actual manga.
Which is reading them backwards.
I found out I was doing it wrong by the second chapter...
But your style fits the qualities of "manga-like" quite well.

So great!! I LOOOOVE your nuzlocke!! By the way, when it comes to comics, you count on views, not favorites. I had a problem with that until I realized I hardly ever favorited the things I read! I had to go back and fave them....

I think that looks really good. Certainly more well defined than it has been since you stopped using color. Should help things stand out more. Then again, that may just be the sketch vs. line art difference more than actual style. Either way, the way you drew it here I think would really make up for not having color anymore.

I'm not one to gush with praise, normally.
But if you published a comic in this style, I think it would work wonderfully. Can't vouch for anyone else, but... I'd consider buying it.
I notice that manga prints often use this "dot-shading" effect in order to create shadings between white and black.
How it's applied I don't know (photoshop brush?) but it might be interesting to try on your artwork to recreate that feel.
(Not to dissuade you from your current shading techniques, as they are very impressive as well!)

Oh! I like this style you are drawing now and the watercolored ones also 8D The one colored ones are nice, although i dunno, i just personally prefer black on white for manga =w=" just my personal preference
