Description

It was stupid – what was he doing? Fur coated feet reacted faster than his brain as he took off after her. What did she want? Where was she going? Their handlers were nearly out of sight – did she realize that? Logic took control for a moment causing Sputnik to pause, looking back and letting out a high-pitch keen of worry. His handler did not seem the least bit concerned, yet it seemed wrong to run off into unknown grounds without him…nonetheless the cream Tokota seemed to lure him further. Such a familiar scent…not one of his mother’s…but something of the same time frame. It made little sense to him, but the mystery was too intriguing not to follow.

Yeeeep. He was one of her brothers Taktuq mused, taking in a big wiff of the oddly shaggy creature before stepping out from behind her handler. He definitely stunk like the rest of them – not to mention that coat – her poor sibling looked like he was on the unfortunate end of a fight with a badger in her opinion. The normally shy cream Tokota relaxed suddenly, uncharacteristically leapt to a kneel, wagging her tail and challenging her sibling to chase after her. Her handler was too busy doing business, she knew of that, and knew they would be a while more. If he really was of Solvieg’s blood, she wondered if he had the taste of water like the rest of them. Has this silly boy even seen water? She pondered – eyeing a crack in the ice sheet as she burst away from the group. Could he even fish?
