I nevah evah draw bronze pernies...mainly because I can not decide on how I'd picture them colour-wise. For the longest time, I had decided that they were a brassy, almost coppery-orange...but lately I've kind of thought of them as a brassy green...kind of how what happens to a bronze statue when you leave it out in the open and forget about it for about a week. I still don't know if I'm happy with the colour...but I have a pillow in my dorm that's the same shade...and it kind of inspired me xDDone at like one am in the morning...because I am smart like that, and knew I had to get up at eight the next day

Bronzes have always given me trouble too. I usually image their coloring being between gold and brown (for obvious reasons).

Pfft you had like 6 hours of sleep, right? That's good! Haha and the picture came out nicely. I've got to admit, I do most of my art in the wee hours these days since it's the only chance I get.

ach, I have the same problem with the coloring. it's a good reason why I'm not a huge fan of bronzes. that and their whole biggest, pompous, most pwerful thing. rowns are my favorites, lol.

Honestly I think the vagaries of bronze colouring allows for variety. So you can have brassy green bronzes AND reddish-orange ones. I can understand your pain in coloring them, either way. It's a nice picture.

Lovely. :3 For some reason bronze coloring never seems to be clear. I think you've got the right idea with the whole 'aged bronze' dealie though. Awesome job!
