Description
The week after Mike Schmidt's first week working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, he traced down the mysterious man who left him his prerecorded messages...or, at least, the apartment he used to live in.

After digging through mounds of garbage, he found detailed plans near his desk. plans to unhaunt Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

After reading through his stuff, it seemed that either this man was crazy, or the restaurant owner was...but he knew what he had to do.

Monday, Mike got there early. The few remaining employees were more than happy to punch out early. he got to his office, and set the cameras on loop using one of the programmers the mysterious employee had readied for himself...if only he had survived one more night. Next on the checklist were the animatronics. He took a specialized computer chip, the technology in it probably as old as the suits themselves, and wiped the shut-down animatronics of all but their basic programming...all of them...but the fifth one. Golden Freddy.

His suit sat crumpled on one of the tables. Appeared there, no hint or sign of entrance. He just appeared, only a few feet from Mike. Golden Freddy was the target...but he has no endoskeleton. nothing to erase...it's only a suit...possessed by a demon.

Mike's teenage baseball years kicked in as he reached for a small grenade he had concealed as a cell phone. Golden Freddy made his move as well, leaping out for Mike, who threw the small plastic explosive, unpinned, into the suit as Mike ran. The explosion tore the Freddy suit to shreds, and the demon possessing it was unable to control himself any longer, and was sent back to wherever demons went. Mike just barely ducked behind another table, avoiding most of the shrapnel, with barely a scratch on him. He wasn't sure where spirits went when they're not possessing things...but he sure hoped this one had gone to hell.
Minutes later, the suits free roam programming kicked in. The three animatronics onstage just stared in awe at the remains of Golden Freddy as Mike ran to his office. And as he ran...he swore he heard crying coming from Pirate Cove...child-like. Mike stayed there just like he had the previous week.

Freddy was the first to speak, as Mike saw from the cameras, he was holding Bonnie and Chica in a group hug. "the demon is gone...we're free now..." the others just cried...they did that for hours. Foxy eventually peeked out from behind his curtain, and Freddy waved him over. they hugged each other tightly and cried for a long time.

they were kids. tortured, controlled, abused, and scarred beyond repair for God-knows-how-long.
but they were now free.

6 AM rolled around, and the suits went back to their normal positions...Mike was very sad...but also very happy. the suits performed without flaw nor glitch.

everyone eventually punched in...everyone except the boss. this continued for two days. an APB was put out for him, but he just...disappeared.

when everyone realized that, they scrounged up what they could for a paycheck and left. Freddy's was about to shut down...but Mike stood up and took legal ownership of the restaurant. they shut down for two days, promising a safer, cleaner, and brighter environment.

Mike took out every loan he could on the restaurant...and now, with his new friends, they were quickly rebuilding the place as it should have been. clean inside and out, no more smell of death and puke and piss, a new place truly meant for kids.

at least, it will be when Foxy stops playing pranks on Freddy.

even though the kids were scarred and hurt and tortured...they were still kids...and Mike kept them happy.
