Description
In the basement of the Rubble house, Wilma and Betty practice their karate moves. Both girls have earned their black belts, and they need to use their spare time to hone their skills. Why? Both of them are being considered for parts in an action movie with lots of martial arts action. But until then, Betty and Wilma have to keep their karate practice a secret from Barney and Fred, especially Fred since he'll want to horn in on the whole deal. Both cavewives have often wished they had other persons to spar with besides themselves. Betty had once suggested sparring with their husbands, which made both of them burst out laughing, since both of them could easily kick their husbands asses. Thank you for the link to that old Flintstones episode where Betty and Wilma learn judo from Mr. Rockymoto (a rather blatant caricature of a Japanese) and use it to teach Fred a lesson. However, I find karate more sexy for Betty and Wilma (and more effective) than judo.

Thank you for the comment, although you may be a little confused about which episode of the Flintstones you're referring to. The episode titled "The Prowler" had Betty and Wilma learning judo from Rockymoto's school of judo to protect themselves from a burgler who's been terrorizing Bedrock.
There was no karate in that episode. The martial art of karate wouldn't become big in this country until the 1970s with the advent of Chinese kung fu films, particularly those by the late, great Bruce Lee. Anyway, thank you for adding my work to your favs file. Enjoy.

Glad you like it, Soldier. And yes, the episode where the girls learn judo from Mr. Rockymoto was the first martial arts show in television cartoons. I just thought I'd update the martial arts technique Betty and Wilma are learning. It's too bad the Flintstones wasn't broadcast in the 70s when the martial arts craze was sweeping the country. You might have seen scenes like the one I created. Enjoy!

Using clubs would be just too easy. The ladies have trained to use their hands and feet to do more damage than any club. But after all, its all just in fun. Enjoy.
