Finally got another opportunity to draw a pup, still working on improving their anatomy, but I think this one made a good leap in that department. Hope you like it ~artmonso !

Thank ye very much. Practice practice practice, everyone starts with a stick figure. You can see some of my older stuff in my scrap book, I cringe at my anatomy back then. XD

Hehe, I was meaning just as when folks first picked up the pencil, often they drew stick figures. These days I use bubbles to form a drawing

Although, drawing in Illustrator CS6 is fun too, but I like paper and pencil better.

I'm taking Multimedia Graphic Design in college, so I have to use CS6 apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign... I don't do much art in them, mostly I use Illustrator on digital art, the rest is hand drawn things.

I've never touched those programs, if I do anything digitally it's usually for an icon, logo, or advertisement, so I just use Inkscape. I've heard amazing things about those programs though

They're really nice, I got a student discount for them, $20 a month for a year. As for Inkscape, I've never heard of that program before. Above all I say Adobe products like the programs are way better then the dinosaur Microsoft Paint. I really wish Paint would step up their game a lot more instead of being... well, dumb. I can draw and paint easy on it, but when you need other things done to the image, it's worth nothing. Frustrates me. Especially when you use Illustrator for the first time after you've used Paint for so long, you begin to hate Paint. A lot. Lol, sorry. Had to say my mind.

No problem. Inkscape is an open source program with a lot of the tools from higher programs. I've heard that between it and gimp, a lot of folks can do most of their work without using expensive programs.
