Description A solo project I did at home while I still had my art lessons with my art professor
I did this solo project to show him everything I learned from him
I didn’t want him to give me any tips or help at all and I only took photographs to show him as I progressed
I just want to show him everything he taught me
All his hard work, jokes, laughter, friendship, trust…it’s unbelievable that out there, there’s still a few good honest people!

but I didn’t finish it in time to show him the final piece…
but the little he did see I hope he’s proud

---------------
I had the idea for this piece since my schooldays and finally got it on canvas!
The idea here is basicly sharks aren't mindless monsters
Sorry to upset to write anything else

Thanks Stephen

is an excellent traditional work
i not have much to say. only a few things: the shark mouth (GWS) usually forms a kind of macabre smile, and the nose and eye should be a little bigger, and must be located 3 millimeters below from where currently is (well from my point of view)as I'm not very good explanation, I show this photo [link]
about the reflections of light: I usually draw it as a compressed net of light. in the picture you can see that form squares of different sizes.only in the vertical zones of the body, the "net" get extends, giving the appearance of stripes. I hope these tips will be useful for u.sorry if my english is bad

Thank you so much Angel
I'll practic my fish/shark anatomy
and your net explanation of light
now I know how to get that effect
(I had trouble with it while painting it)
Going to try it tonight
This helped me alot
Thanks again Angel

It's nice to see a picture which portrays sharks in a positive light. So often they're portrayed as such gruesome monsters and this is just beautiful. I love the fact that the diver is actually petting the shark (your anatomy on it is excellent btw) and the shoal of fish swimming past is a nice touch. I'm sure your prof would like it if he could see it!
