Brother of Mohatu, what makes him Prince of Ndona Pride.

In his youth Askari was hurt by a zebra, his nose was broken and his cornea scarred - that's why it looks so dark. Since then, his eyesight isn't the best.
When the Geat Evil comes over the lands, Askari searches help for the battle and visits the neighboring prides.

Later he will lead a group of the best lions - later known as the (First) Lion Guard. Askari will be known as the fiercest lion.
