Sakai, my new troubled prince, i can finally upload this ;>

Eyes sparkled as he saw the smudge on the horizon. Well well, I wonder if that was human's doing, Sakai mused, knowing well that was not the case.
The city was alight, and he had heard from some talkative fellow rogues that the city was up for wrecking.
Purring, he donned his armor he had crafted himself. The little talkative one he had coaxed information out of had suggested that the lowly rogues would be permitted to join in the attack.
He prefered - 'take advantage of the distraction'.

Quietly, using the light breeze out where he had made a makeshift den as cover he began to lope toward that hued sky, chuckling as the smoke billowed. It would take him more than a short while to traverse this landscape and reach Massilia, but he would definitely arrive before it was over.
Claws glinting and with a determined look in his eyes, he ran.

He had arrived. God this place hasn't changed He muttered, with a sniff of contempt. He looked around blandly; but the lack of guards at this entrance had only confirmed that they were preoccupied with the Empires.
His graceful loping run had slowed only slightly as he headed into the city itself, willing his tensed muscles to relax and ears to relent their upright alert-ness.
He had not set foot into the city since then. Since... his father... Sakai shook his head. Dwelling on it would not change the past, would not bring him back.
Bring his feelings back.
Emotions getting the better of him, Sakai found himself almost charging blindly through the street now, panting. The walls felt like they were suffocating him. He skidded to a halt, a bitter taste at the un-elegance. Standing in that street, he glared at the floor.
This was supposed to be a joyous occasion, not demure or rage-filled. It took a minute, but he steadied himself and found that grin spreading back over his expression.
The city was burning.

And that might be my welcome, over-stayed. The pale feline let out a peal of laughter as a brute hunter swiped at him. He had found himself at the city center - near the fires. He could hear the crackling through the ringing in his ears. By mistake, he had rounded a corner and ended up face to face with a dark Lioness. A hunter- even worse. He stopped and gazed at her with wide eyes, a small innocent smile playing on his face. "M'Lady" He mrowed before she snarled at him, a heavy paw smacking him at his ears. "Rogue." She had hissed, grunting at his stupid aggravating expression. Sakai offered a grin of apology, shrugging in the brief seconds he had before she took him down.
Standing over him, she had him pinned. "Well well, pretty lady. How did you know I wanted to be the submissive one today". He purred, words almost incoherent from his pounding head leaving him breathless. He realised after the words came out that maybe this was the wrong tact.
The lioness practically roared at him and snapped her jaws shut just a breadth away from his throat. "Say that again and I'll string your organs up on the coliseum like a trophy." She threatened, and Sakai felt himself swallow. Yes, wrong tact indeed.
He reached around with his tail and whipped her in the eyes with it, allowing himself to be released just enough to roll onto his belly and free himself, spinning to swipe ash and dust into her face as he went with a paw.
The laughed again as he quickly built up speed, setting off with long strides toward his exit. He didnt need to fight to enjoy the destruction he could see.
Bounding along gracefully, he saw a smaller cat that the lioness ahead down the dark street. Mmm no need to have to get pinned down by him too. Sakai observed and decided to just dodge around him rather. The cat's ears turned back as Sakai loped toward him, and crouched defensively as the pale feline ducked around him with a grin. "Charmed to meet you." He called over his shoulder as he went.

With paws tired and heavy, ear just starting to clear, Sakai stood over the city of Massilia. His tail and other long fur on his body billowed out in the wind, and the sun began to rise over the hoizon.
This place, which had ruined his life, would see justice. If not now, then later. He could wait.
"I'll be back."
