Jackalfang and Scorchwhisper have decided to have kits with the approval of Wolf'la!

There will be 5 kits in total, 3 of which will be available for tryouts!

Before trying out, please read up on both parents bio's to get a good idea of what kind of cat each parent is!

Early Expected Kithood from Jackalfang:

Jackalfang will be a rather cold and strict mother, though in front of her new peers, she will seem like the most loving and nurturing kind. Earning praise from her will turn out to be rather difficult unless her kits are open about positive feelings towards the Halcyon. She is hellbent on making sure her children are raised with the highest outlook on The Halcyon and their Queen Wolf'la and will nip any sort of rebellious thoughts or behaviors from her children any chance she gets. Jackal being apart of the exchange program means she is meant to return to The Halcyon when her 3 moons in Ia is up. Her children will have the choice to either join her, remain in Ia or move to different clans. Jackalfang and Scorchwhisper are platonic friends whom have decided to have kits together, so they will not act as other parents would, though they will both be involved in the kits lives. Occasionally, Jackalfang will take her children on a play date with Sequoia'la's litter in the Halcyon.

Scorchwhisper having always wished to be a father, and much more, as good of one as any could be, will be very present in the kits lives. As in you'll wish you could get away from him present. With every intention of doing what he can to guide them, he is likely going to be the one to do this in a much warmer kind of manner. He wants to be and do everything he possibly can for them, and will literally lay down his life to protect them. With that, in wanting to keep them safe, he will alongside Jackal ensure that they grow up listening and following the Halcyon way of life. Any disrespect or peek of rebellion, he's not going to stand for that either. That last thing he wishes to see his one of his kids striked down for that kind of thing. And, a little add on: You can bet your bottom he's gonna drag them to play dates with his brother Emberfoot's litter

The cause of the litter:

Word got out of Raven's assassination, causing, for the first time, some worry to form in the back of Jackalfang's mind. Every cat knew who he was, and perhaps it was suspicious of him to participate in the exchange. So what gave him away? All that she knew now was that all the participants were now in a slightly higher stage of danger. What would make her less conspicuous? More settled in and at ease? Possibly even seeming to reject her old life? A family maybe? Possibly. During her time there, she had made one good friend, a fellow Halcyon Loyalist, like herself. She figured sooner or later, she would seek out a donor to achieve having offspring at some point, however, she never thought it would be to seem more at home in her new location. After all, who would order an assassination on an expecting mother?

- Winners of the tryouts will be selected as we see fit! The absolute last day for tryouts is April 20th! (Updated from April 15th)

- Upon winning a tryout, you must put in a reservation request for your kit's prefix in discord server!

- This is for GoldBlood Members only!

- You may not at any point kill off your character! If you no longer wish to rp as them, let either myself or MagnoliaNight44 know and we will rehome them!

- Regarding gender identity! Gender is entirely up to the rper, however if your kit will identify as a different gender, we ask that you wait until late apprenticehood/early warriorhood for your character to fully realize this. During their kithood/early apprenticehood, they may begin to figure themselves out!

- To tryout, you must complete a mock application for the character!

- [Edit] Bios must be completed in kit form and all kits must start off on the Ia Ref Template

- Remember to set their age as Newborn!

- [Edit] If you become inactive with the character, they will be returned automatically to me and we will seek out rehoming them. This is after multiple attempts to contact or increase activity.
