I love Carnival! Here in Italy there are a lot of traditions, like the battle with oranges (Ivrea) or the parade of floats (Viareggio).Every year at my school the students masquerade themselves even if there is a test!
We have the proverb: "a Carnevale ogni scherzo vale" that means anyone can make jokes to anyone else.
Do you know? Time ago, the Carnival of Venice lasted more than six weeks (even for many months), and the masks were often used in everyday life.

I love carnivals. I have only been to two but those were the best time I ever had. It was amazing! And then me and my dad went on the 8 Ferris wheel! It looks like an 8. We went all the way to the top and the sight was amazing! I never forgotten it. That is why when ever the carnival is in town, I beg my mom to take me but we don't have enough money. So. Yeah. But I always loved the carnivals. And now I got a silver mask with a silver flower so I am ready for the next carnival. I always keep it next to me.

You ever see the music video of Mr. Brightside by The Killers? That's what this reminds me of. Or Moulin Rouge, or something along those lines.

Wow, a Mardi Gras in New Orleans must be awesome too. Don't forget Rio de Janeiro, hometown of my dear talented peep and one of the most jolliest carnivals in the world. Here in Peru, carnivals at Cajamarca are very well known, but is like a huge frat party, with tons of pranks, dance, games... and booze *^_^*U. Any trip with those two girls together must be really interesting. Add Bridgette, and I'll be following every single step they make very Sierra-like XD.

Carnival in italy sounds itetesting.
Here, in Florida, we dress up in costumes and dance. Its fun to watch, but this year i'll actually be in the carnival!
