Description A line up of some of the main Naguals of my EoA Fanfic. Maya fashion is my favorite out of all the different Mesoamerican groups, so mostly the Maruvian clothing is influenced by it though there will be a few exceptions. All glyphs are Maya Scrypt however since I only have access to those translations. I made sure to give them colors that represent their elements which are also colors hat would have been available to Mesoamericans to dye their clothing. Some colors will blur between elements to show that even though the elements seem completely different, there is similarities between them.

Mazateikautl - A name I came up with through the Nahuatl naming system. He wears a wears a wrap around loincloth worn by Yucatec Maya Warriors since their clothing can mix between casual and battle armor. To keep the deer theme he wears a Late Classic Maya deer skin skirt and the maya script for "fire deer" is sewn in orange. His tattoos have the fire glyphs around his wrists.

Tepeyacan - A possible Zapotec/Mixtec name. For his rough personality, I gave him a Mexica (Aztec) military garment called an Ehuatl since the Mexica had strong military views compared to other Mesoamerican groups. Each leather strip of the skirt has "earth" sewn in. He made his macuahuilt, an obsidion studded club, out of his earth powers though normally the club would be made of wood. The glyphs translate to "This sword belongs to Tepeyacan". His tattoos have show's version of the Xicalcoliuhqui motif we see throughout Mesoamerican temples as well as the glyph for "warrior".

Zyanya - A Zapotec name I chose for her WAY before Onyx Equinox came out, so it's pure coincidence she shares the name with my favorite Onyx character. She wears Late Classic Maya wrap around skirt and top. The tree and flower designs are inspired by the doors of Castillo Viejo temple in Chichen Itza. Though the glyph on her top is an original glyph I designed. Her color scheme, especially the turquoise, are colors that represent life in Mesoamerican cultures. Warriors would often decorate their spears with feathers. Her tattoo is a Sunbird  design seen in Realm of the Jaquins. Sunbirds take inspiration from feathered serpant gods throughout Mesoamerican mythology. The glyphs for "flower" and "jaguar" are designed within the sunbird.

It wouldn't be possible to know about certain articles of clothing if it wasn't for Zamazotz's intense research of Mesoamerican artifacts, mural, and Codexes. You should check them out!
