Another sketch practice drawing.Β This was for of their unique species.Β I had fun putting some hyena into that shark.Related content

I love the facial expression of this one! It really has the hyena vibe to it. The colors also work really well together. I love the blue tongue and claws especially. It has a nice contrast to the browns/oranges of the body. One minor critique I would give is that the characters front left paw looks a bit unnatural/uncomfortable. It seems twisted just a bit too much, at least to me. Other than that I find the stylization, composition, and textures really awesome! Great work overall

yeah I totally understand. I don't exaggerate that often, but it was always the biggest challenge for me to make it still believable. I guess the best thing to do it study the skeletal structure and see which movements are possible XDΒ

The creature itself was made byΒ Β gatorbite on FA, but I designed the colors.
I love that you threw some hyena in there! These beasties do remind me of them. Also, your interpretation basically set the foundation for her personality, as I hadn't decided it entirely yet when you drew her. So thanks again! I can't stop looking at this. It is my wallpaper everywhere, lol.
