Awwww, those nerds are really two peas in a pod. I love how Ford is transparent due to how he is no longer that young and innocent, and the cipher wheel in the background, the procephy in which their fates are both intertwined. I wonder if Dippers dad is a nerd as well. Doesn't he work with computers???

Hey. Granted, Ford definitely can be a bit obsessive, but he loves what he does and has the fate of the universe in his hands, so I would let him work if I were you. As for reclusive, there is a term for people that like to be alone. It's called being an introvert, and he does like to hang out with Dipper and Mabel, and now Stan since they made up. As for selfish, he spent 30 years in another dimension with only himself to rely on, so naturally I think he would be a little selfish. And yes he is a bit of a know it all, but most of the time he is genuinely trying to help.
