It yearns for a second light, juxtaposed to the yellow in the right of the lower yaw, or the extinction of yellow making it a purely black-white painting. There is great depth and realism in the teeth, but that style is lacking a bit in the lower yaw. a touch of contrast that would not undermine the feeling of blur, on which you are building your feeling of depth.

Yeah...you might be right...

I know there are some flaws in it...but yet I think it's one of the best I ever have made (and it was only my second skull painting)
Not really because how it was painted, just what it means to me...

But thank you for your opinion

Wow. That there's some SKILLS. I might have to ask you about your techniques with acrylic paint, I've been having difficulties with it- this is sort of the effect I'm going for, though. Could I bother you for some tips? For example- how do you blend everything so well before the paint dries? Do you usually add water to your pigments?

Thanks a lot for saying that...

Well, it's not that hard really to paint like this...I just start with a solid layer, just fill in as many different kind of shades I can...and just add layer per layer on it with a dry brush (which means just using the paint without any water)...the layers I add are thin though (I don't use much paint on the brush, I wipe most of it off) and I rub the paint on the canvas like in circles rather than use strokes...The brushes I use have short hairs but are kind of soft
I hope that you understand what I meant and answers your question.
