This is a really fun piece. It conveys a creepy, uneasy feeling without falling into the pitfalls of cliché or grossness that so many "scary" images are guilty of. It's cartoony without being silly, and clever without being esoteric. I like how the character is climbing out of the fry bag, thereby making all fries suspect, and approaching the viewer in a semi-menacing, semi-exploring way. Your use of color is outstanding! You bring vividness, light, and depth to the work in a really very impressive way.
Nevertheless, the purpose of this group is to give constructive criticism, not mere praise, so I see two areas where improvement may be possible. First, while I really like the horn-like affect of the ketchup, and the way you depicted liquid is impressive, I think ketchup is usually more viscous than this. I'm perfectly well aware that this is nit-picking, but I gotta' find something to say. the other item I see is a loss of perceived depth where the fry bag touches the unshown table (I assume it's a table). It's so horizontal here that despite the shading, it feels a bit flat. Maybe adding shadows on the table would help ground it more and provide more depth.
Anyway, those are minor considerations for such an outstanding piece.

Thanks for the lovely comment! I appreciate the feedback as well, and agree that the ketchup is very goopy...I think it's supposed to be kind of creeping out of it's container like the fries are? But at the same time kind of look like bloody? I think the dripping part is too liquid as you said, I'll try and experiment with it. It might need a little work on the part still in the container also, shouldn't it be more shiny?
I am planning on making a version of each letter with a background/shadow/environment so thanks for pointing the bottom the the bag area.
One day I'll get back to this! (so busy at the moment)

Amazing! The only thing it misses is a row of sharp teeth and I would be absolutely terrified! But this is cool nonetheless, and if you plan to add grease stains on the bag I suggest adding oil that drips from the fries' arms and foot. All in all it looks great, keep up the good work!

Well now freaky it is. I rather like the bag and the way the fries look. It’s hard for me to describe it, but they don’t look crispy, but rather well cooked and soft, ready to be eaten. Of course these fries are alive, along with the ketchup head, so I doubt anyone will be sampling these fries anytime soon. I really love what you’re doing with this series, and I especially like how the ketchup is being made into horns/hair. The eyes are dead and they certainly give the fry creature a rather peculiar stare. The simple background, with the splotch of green for color to pop the fries and the bag helps out quite a bit.
Love how you placed “Freaky Fries” there, however I feel “F is for Freaky Fries” would be a bit better somewhere places in a corner. That way when these are all placed, we can see the letters and them stacked in a row when they’re all done.
Maybe a border to add along the edge.
The fires look like fries, and the ketchup looks like ketchup. Makes you just want to risk dunking the guy in his own head and then consuming him. The bag looks great, although some grease stains and some salt would help out a bit more here with the details, other than that though this is perfect. I like how you’re updating these as you make them, that way we all can see what food/letter is next.
Great job and keep up the great work. Can’t wait to see what’s next on the list.

As for the fries, some are crispy and some aren't. Not sure why though, I guess it has to do with temperature and the oil being used. Would be interesting to see if you ever do tackle it.

AH nice. I've only done it once though through a pan, but I would like to do it again whenever I get some potatoes again.
Just a small border, similar in color to the background with another outer border from it (but thinner). So as to draw in the eye to the fry guy a bit better. And those fries.

Yeah it's fun! Try this: cut potatos and add salt...squeeze out the water after ten minutes or so. THen put them in the freezer for half hour or more and then striaght in to the hot oil.
They will be nice. I tried so many times and this worked best lol..
So just a line line of color? I can try it out, I was thinking of like little designs like fries and ketchup packets, mustard, vinegar etc...salt packet...? But I will try this later lol I want to finished the series first, thanks for the idea!
