it was Natalie Portman but then she had to go home. Anyways it was a good study even if it doesn't look like her cause I learned a lot lol...except how to capture likeness. so frustrating.Related content

Honestly if you want a likeness the nose is the most important. Her eyes and lips look like hers (when I saw it I was like: Natalie Portman? So I can see her in it) but her nose doesn't come down as much, if you know what I mean? Since the nose is in the middle of the face it anchors it all together so it's the most important part to get right. The eyes give it life, the nose gives it personality.

Hi! Oh thanks so much, I see what you mean...I am currently studying noses cause I think they are really hard, I didn't think they were so important till recently. As you said they tie the face together andΒ I totaly agree that so much personality is in them

Yeah, they're really hard but getting them right is super important. I noticed my likenesses improved so much when I started drawing them better. You're doing a good job, though! You'll get it.

(I think, also, something that surprised me is how much teeth being accurate really pushes a likeness over the top - sometimes it's the small detail. Nose is most important, though!)
