I myself have not gotten this kind of reaction (as of yet)--I more so get the "Holy ipad!" reaction when people see me carrying any one of the books in the series.

I laughed so hard! This happened to me a couple times because I do the same with the covers and take them off to protect them. It gets VERY annoying after a while.

XD,ok so i'll admit i was almost about to comment about the book, but the comic made me agree with you. I hate both twilight and harry potter. But i love the inheratance cycle. i also have book three. Nice job man, and don't try not to bash someone's head with the books ok?

I experienced the same thing. Every time someone asked me that, the little person in my head wanted to scream at them.
I feel your pain. XD; And you interpreted your anger very nicely. If I had been asked enough, I probably would have started screaming, too.
Twilight is an okay series, but compared to the Inheritance Cycle and the Noble Dead Saga, it is but mere fanfiction material. -end small opinion rant-

How could someone look at Brisingr and thing Breaking Dawn???? I mean, Breaking Dawn is great and all, but I don't think that whenever I see a thick book...

I take off the cover of the book. I usually find it gets in the way so all people see is the big black cover. At the time, Breaking Dawn was the craze and everyone was reading it. Really, it was an understandable mix up. It just got frustrating after a while.

Both books are i their own way I like the inheritance cycle better. twilight can be really annoying becuase the characters have no sence of humour, (except Jacob)
I love angela!

That's been going on a lot at my school, too.
Right now I'm almost done reading Breaking Dawn, and let me tell you, I don't like very much of it. :/
Brisingr was OK...predictable, but better than Eldest.

I HATE TWILIGHT! There I said it! I'm sorry but its an un-original story for idiot girls.
Plus the author admits to NOT researching the vampyre myth nor any historical back round with the vampyre.
The vampyre genre DIED when Anne Rice found Jesus.

THANK YOU! God damn, it's about time somebody I knew agreed with me!
And I'm not sure vampire can count as a genre...

You know, Brisingr's been getting horrible reviews, but I like it goddammit (so far at least, almost halfway through right now).
Yeah, I don't think highly of Twilight... ^^'
I know how you feel about homework. I have a bunch of it and I hate it too...

heh tends to happen with those kind of books. . . I just read the whole HP series, and everyone asked whether it was any of that particular vampiric series. . .
What's Brisingr about? (Wait, it sounds like Eragon's spell for fire. . . IS IT THE THIRD PART??? Or am I failing to recognize the title big time?)
