Description You and I, like candlelight,
We dance with warmth and flickering passions.
Like fire, we dance with embers.
We cannot be stopped from our reactions.

Then, we take flight
With peregrine wings and dove grace.
We are limitless in azure skies,
Northern winds are ours to chase.

Yet, you call me Sky.
Endless imaginings and games
Are yours when we collide.
You are never ashamed.

You are my Earth.
Stable, soft--Safe on your soil.
While the rest of the world,
While all of my mind must uncoil.

We love so differently.
With haughty fancy or consuming tempests,
I am a stage for the world's discontent.
Invitations for all to be a guest.

You, so simple,
Or so I first thought.  A fickle affection,
Then bound by morality to act,
For fear of the world's rejection.

We are far.
West Wind and East, our identity.
We are close.
Sun and moon in serenity.
