Marionette isn't that scary to be honest. He's the most predictable

It's his backstory that frightens me the most, truly - Game Theory is the reason the games terrify me.
...
I am a wuss.
I'm going to hide under this rock now.

Eh I find the lore behind these games amazing. We're given very little to go on and it scares people more than the game itself haha

The lore is original, but it's extremely disturbing.
The game frightens me because I was mortified by Animatronics when I was a child, I am not afraid to admit.
It's just worse thinking that some sick bastard murdered children and stuffed them in to these suits - How did no one see the bastard? He killed a child who was behind a glass door and no one happened to see him.
Heuch.
Damn you, Purple Phone Guy.

It is both original and disturbing, but more disturbing is that it could, in fact, happen.
And there's nothing wrong with admitting that, lots of people were/are scared of them. I wasn't and am still not afraid of those things, I was more afraid of the guy walking around in the mascot costume. [Fucking Chuck E. Cheese man] I always felt like if I wasn't paying attention to my brother and sisters, he would take them. [This was 10 years ago mind you. This game has re-risen that fear]
I don't think anyone saw him do it because it was a door. The children were preoccupied with cake, Freddy may have seen it but couldn't do anything about it, and the absence of parents/adult figures makes one think that they are in a whole other area.
The second game seems to be where the kids are stuffed, at least that's what I'm getting from the phone calls, and looking at the design of the building a child could easily be called over to the Parts & Service room when they are going to the bathrooms.
The lore is terrifying and it makes me not want to go to another restaurant like that [Chuck E Cheese type places I mean]

I'm sorry if I've offended you at all whilst voicing my opinions, by the way. :c I know many people like this game and, because it's the Internet, people can't bear to have others share their opinions. Mm, Internet.
And I completely agree with you on the Mascot thing... It's just a guy wandering around in a massive costume, and you cannot see their face, and cannot see how they think.
It's rather eerie.
I'm sorry that that fear was re-awakened - The game combines three of my own great fears and that's why I don't want to play it - Though I'm glad it brings people... Happiness?....
I guess if you're happy when something leaps out of the darkness, trying to nom your face?...

Hmm? I'm not offended in the slightest, everyone has their own opinions and I respect them. And I know what you mean *sigh*
I'm glad someone else agrees *shivers*
Ah it's fine, I'm an adult I'll get over it haha
And the happiness that it brings is more story based, rather than game based. Take my AU for example; it brings me happiness because I love having my character in another universe making a character that is obviously sad and angry, happy. I feel bad for the characters because of what happened and being able to make my own au to it makes me feel happy. The same can be said for most of the people is this fandom, they connected to the characters because they either felt sorry or felt some kind od connection [if that makes sense.]

Oh, I do genuinely feel bad for them, someone came up with the theory that they only attack you because of the Phone Recordings - They hear the voice of the person who killed them, so they hunt you thinking that you are the man whom ended their lives.
( Even though the man who killed them has a strange affinity for purple... )
I'd most likely close the door to the office and wander around - I'm sure it's nice to have conversations with them.
I'm sure they could probably help me get over the fear of the Dark, Animatronics, and Ghosts. hue
And, yes it makes sense. Many people have connections to characters that aren't real, it's not strange, it's a sign of a good story in my opinion. c: Although I'll never love the game as much as other people because a lot of things don't make sense but they do at the same time, or because I personally don't like having my soul kill itself when being attacked by a Pirate Fox with a lazy eye, I do at least respect the character for it's originality and creating a massive Fan-base faster than many other games and forms of media.

Yes, but then they may think you were working with him up until the point of his death. :3
And, really, they would go after the phone, would they not? I'm sure the animatronics hate Security Guards to begin with, so I could see why there would be a danger - Just dress up like the Puppet, no one would mind and the Puppet would love your fashion sense. c:
And, I believe it went like this;
"Euch, just another horror game," said the Internet.
"DEAR GOD, LOOK AT THESE DISCOVERIES!" Says another man on the Internet
The Internet gasps, and then slaps FNaF on to everyone's face.
