I always wondered what I would look like with blue hair, blue eyes, and a branch in my face. O_oI gave myself a new hairstyle today with my increasing length and started a new/ancient tradition: I'm going to be a hippy and see if I can stand having a couple little braids scattered about my coarse, native american mass ((or as calls it, my "tutu" )) until the fall equniox begins. It'll be a springy-thingy!
Anyhoo, photomanip. Yeah, I haven't done one in AGES so I figure what the hell? Lets play with GIMP 2.0 for about five seconds and see what we can create.
I have three new drawings awaiting finishing on my desk. :3 I won't post my commission work until I hear from the nice fellow who hired me.
...I may upload a nice picture of springness here in a bit if I get some nice shots of the flowering thats going on here.

What a pretty hottie you are lass, the turning of hair color and eyes was an interesting notion, too bad surgery costs are skyrocketing.
Like many have mentioned love how were able to match the colors so well and in such rich detail too lass, kudos to you and that little program of yours.
This new style your going on about looks really beautiful lass, your not keeping birds in your hair like a hippy would but I'm sure your getting notice from the gents out there, bravo.

For some reason, it reminds me of the cover photography art for Loreena McKennitt's "Book of Secrets" CD. I definitely like the choice of color you used for your hair and eyes.

Is the hair hue-shifted digitally, or is that its current colour? If it's a shop, it's fairly convincing.

LMAO, WELL NORMALLY I WOULD HAVE A BLACK EYE BUT THIS WAS A MAGICAL OCCASION...and so you see, the branch was a ghost branch.
Oh I WISH it was the real color, but sadly I work in a rather stuffy place called a bank. I was actually a bit nervous that my new physical manifest would be scrutinized, but I actually got compliments on my braids! They are now known around town as "Easter Braids". Seriously though, if I DIDN'T work in a bank, this would be my color. I merely took this image, put a transparent layer over, colored it in with overlay using a sky blue hue, then transparent layered it again, overlay, darker blue in areas, another layer, and sprayed a few areas that would logically be darker with the burn technique. :3 And then I make a photo I took earlier this month of our mountain behind the house, turned it into a brush, and layered it over the image. For ghost branch. It was fun!

It's an obscure memory I have. I have a lot of them. I said while you were on the phone with mom many years ago, that "I wanted to have a pretty straight veil of hair" and you said "She doesn't have a veil! She has a tutu!"
I also remember you discussing how tornadoes form while sitting in the driveway next to the house when I was three or four, and we were looking up at the moon, and it was ALMOST full. :3 I also remember when you gave me a curly hair style, and I thought to myself that I looked like little orphan annie, and I remember the flash cards with lime green dots and orange dots on them, and when you were drawing that art of the half rotten children underground, you know---the one with half their faces as bone and the other as flesh? I remember when you did draft art of donald duck and I think mickey for some project while babysitting me and I think jared and jenn and maddie...
...I remember a LOT. I could sit here ALL day and drill out random memories involving you and I. I remember when you slipped and fell and sprained something in our front yard while we were playing with water, there was a hose and slick ground involved I think.

It was short! I've had short hair for four years, but I'm growing it out for special sentimental reasons. Don't tell SOMEONE, but I'm growing it out long for SOMEONE so SOMEONE can see how I looked before I moved away from SOMEONE, again--it will be great nostalgia. He always liked my coarse, cave-man hair of two and a half feet. In about six months it should be ABOUT long enough. It grows fast.
