Just fabulous. I'm green with envy. We see the northern lights so seldom these days. Too many street lights up here. I'm hoping the local council decide they will turn off the lights at midnight to save money!!

I'd really like to see that with my own eyes once ... even Germany is too far in the south for northern lights β except once in 2005, but the sky was all cloudy in that night, so I missed the chance.

I was out that night, and caught some awesome sunset pics. This far south, the only real evidence was an extremely bright band of green, and the brilliance of the colors. Never seen a sunset like that one before!! Beautiful pics!
