The League in Empire space never conducted patrols, they were simply too risky and any detection could risk the Navy hunting down the fleet. Instead an army of League intelligence agents were among Navy ships, installations and other key areas in which they would relay back movements and plans. Many were killed and when the S-21 Eclipse stealth figher was green lit for operations it made their job a little easier.

Here are 3 League Dreadnoughts in the Cronus system disrupting Navy troop carriers which are on course to head too the Draco system. These side operations were critical in making sure Draco would fall to League as an endless supply of troops would make securing Draco nearly impossible.
